One day after the ‘Alert for COVID-19’ issued by the government of Mexico City, there are already new specific restrictions, particularly in the Historic Center and in priority attention neighborhoods where more cases are registered.
As of Monday the non-essential establishments in the first square of the city they will close at five in the afternoon from Monday to Saturday. As for informal commerce, the withdrawal time is at four in the afternoon. The same hours apply to the 200 priority attention neighborhoods where there should also be no food sales on public roads.
The city government said it would give financial support to merchants who will not be able to leave.
Entrance streets and exit streets
In the historical center there will be entry and exit routes to avoid crowds, in addition to time restrictions. The access roads are May 5, September 16, Donceles, Justo Sierra, Belisario Domínguez, Isabel la Católica, Calle del Carmen, Calle Loreto, Republic of Venezuela and Republic of Chile.
The streets to be used by those who leave the Historic Center are: Allende, Francisco I. Madero, Venustiano Carranza, Tacuba, Belisario Domínguez, Simón Bolívar, February 5, Pino Suárez, Corregidora, Republic of Guatemala, Mesones, Leona Vicario, Moneda, Soledad, San Antonio Abad from Fray Servando, Republic of Argentina and Correo Mayor.
The only streets that will run on two tracks are November 20 and Belisario Domínguez.

Outside the Historic Center and the neighborhoods of priority attention, the measure of suspension of pilgrimages, concentrations of merchants, seasonal fairs and popular markets will also apply. On the other hand, the museums, which returned to operations a few months ago, they will close again, from December 14 to January 10.
Cinemas and theaters may continue to operate at 30% capacity.
