On Thursday at around 5 p.m., a driver was driving on Staltenstrasse from Ebersecken towards Altbüron in Altbüron. For reasons that are still unknown, the vehicle collided with the guardrail on the right-hand side in a left-hand bend in the Hornbuechwald area. The car was lifted and landed on the guardrail. No one was injured.
Motorcyclist falls after collision
About an hour earlier, a motorcyclist was traveling on the cantonal road from Ebersecken towards Schötz and braked. A following vehicle noticed the braking too late and collided with the rear of the motorcycle. The motorcyclist fell and was injured. He was taken to hospital.
E-bike rider has to be transported by helicopter
In the Finsterwald district of Entlebuch, a car collided with an e-bike rider on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. The driver had tried to overtake the woman in the Grundmoss area. The e-bike rider fell and was injured in the impact. She was transported by rescue helicopter and taken to hospital.
Drunk driver drives into lamppost
At 5 a.m. in the morning, a driver was driving on Luzernstrasse from the Loren crossing in the Lucerne district of Hellbühl when he crossed into the oncoming lane on a bend in the Ober Stächerein area and collided with a street lamp. The vehicle then came to a stop on a meadow.
The police conducted a breathalyzer test on the 27-year-old driver, which showed exactly 2 per mille. He is no longer allowed to drive a motor vehicle until the Road Traffic Authority makes a decision.
