Former chief prosecutor Kim Dae-hyun (52, 27th Judicial Research and Training Institute), who regularly harassed late prosecutor Kim Hong-young and was accused of driving me for extreme choices, admitted that there had been “physical contact” with prosecutor Kim at the first trial.
At the first trial of the case held at the hearing of Judge Kim Joon-hyuk of the Seoul Central District Court on the 12th, a lawyer for former chief prosecutor Kim said, “Basically, we do not argue about the fact that the accused contacted the victim.”
However, the attorney said, “There are a lot of things that are irrelevant to the facts of the prosecution in the prosecution. He said, “It is an opinion that a change in the prosecution is necessary.” At the request of the lawyer, the court decided to seek the opinion of the prosecution on the complaint and hold a second trial date at 10:40 am on the 4th of the following month.
After the trial, former chief prosecutor Kim, who attended the trial in person, went out to the court with quick steps, silently answering questions from reporters such as’Do you admit violence or violence?’ and’Do you have anything to say to Prosecutor Kim and his family?’
Former chief prosecutor Kim was handed over to trial on charges of assaulting Prosecutor Kim four times from March to May 2016 while working at the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office. Prosecutor Kim, who was 33 years old at the time, was found dead at home in May of that year, leaving a suicide note expressing pressure on her organizational life.
As a result of a fact-finding investigation by the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office, it was revealed that former chief prosecutor Kim used habitual violent remarks and assaults against him.
The Ministry of Justice dismissed former chief prosecutor Kim in August of the same year, but did not punish him. At the time, the prosecution headquarters did not accuse former manager Kim, saying, “It is not enough to lead to criminal punishment.”
Afterwards, the Korean Bar Association accused former chief prosecutor Kim, who applied for a lawyer registration in August 2019, on charges of coercion, assault, and insult. However, the prosecution only applied the charges of assault for reasons such as’no public prosecution’ and’no charge’.
