Ilze from the fifth floor says that around 7-7:30 p.m. there was very loud music from the neighbors on the third floor that day: “The young woman started running around the apartment, everything is very loud in our house. Loud clicks were also heard, this often happens in our house, we were already used to it. Then she started shouting loudly and I thought there was some sort of argument going on.”
Screamed and tried to run away
Around 8 p.m., the woman started calling for help in a very loud voice, even in a superhuman voice. “Footsteps, bangs were heard, but I didn’t understand where the sounds were coming from. She was banging on the door to the outside corridor, because it was obviously locked. I ran downstairs, my downstairs neighbor did the same. The stairs were really bumpy.”
The woman was eventually dragged back into the apartment. “The neighbor pounded on the apartment door with his fists, called to open it immediately, because the police have already been called,” says Ilze. There was silence for a moment, then a series of shots rang out again and silence again.
“I thought the police were driving for a very long time, but no, they arrived very quickly. Only then did one of the neighbors say that the woman was lying on the grass near the house. She jumped from her apartment on the third floor directly into a lilac bush, which was broken because of it. I know that the man shot, the woman jumped out of the window, but the shot was from the back. After that, the policemen were still looking for cameras in the hall,” thinks the neighbor.
She was quiet and solid by nature
The emergency medical team arrived very quickly, but the victim died at the hospital. Meanwhile, the policemen broke down the door of the apartment by force, but they failed to arrest the murderer, he committed suicide. “I know that the apartment had just been renovated and new iron doors were installed, but the specialists broke them very quickly,” adds Ilze.
The deceased lived in this house for a short time. “It was quiet and peaceful, there was never loud music from her apartment, and there were no visitors either. The image is a very normal, solid woman.”
There were two small children in the family, who occasionally ran around the apartment and laughed. They were not at home during the tragedy and are now with relatives. Ilze thought that the mother lived alone with the children, but from time to time a man came to visit, who looked very solid.
Something like this has not yet been experienced in Ezerkastra, although there are often riots, groups of drunkards often gather outside, but then the police arrive and collect or warn the troublemakers.
