As noted, the Russian invaders carried out two helicopter attacks with Mi-8 pairs on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian troops launched two air strikes in the Nikolaev and Kherson regions on the accumulation of manpower and enemy equipment, the results are being specified.
An air battle took place in the Snigirevka area.
“An air-to-air missile was fired from a Su-35 fighter at a pair of our Mi-8s. The helicopters managed to dodge. The enemy, saving missiles, retreated,” the report says.
Russian troops continued to attempt to conduct aerial reconnaissance using UAVs.
During the day, the Ukrainian military destroyed two drones of the Orlan-10 type and one quadrocopter.
In general, 28 invaders and 10 pieces of equipment were destroyed in the southern direction during the day, including, in addition to the UAV, the Msta-B howitzer, a command and staff vehicle, five pieces of armored and other vehicles.
