TV3’s entertaining show “Almost Ideal Dinner” this week brought together a bright and attractive company, and on the second evening the guests were received by singing actress and event manager Vita Baļčunaite.

Vita welcomed the guests not at her home, but at her friends’ home, and announced at the beginning of the evening that dinner would not be traditional and etiquette compliant.
When the guests were welcomed, a snack was brought to the table without much delay – a healthy smoothie with crisps, and Felipe asked if the drink contained alcohol. The athlete did not hide the fact that he had the impression that no real Latvian party could do without a good drink.
On the main course, Vita brought rice porridge with chicken and vegetables to the table, and this was presented to guests as a dish that could just as well be enjoyed in the canteen. The food was nothing special to Felipe, who admitted that he eats rice with chicken every day.
Inese, on the other hand, said that she felt tense in Felipe’s thoughts about what his dinner would be like.
After the first two dishes were tasted, cottage cheese with jelly cream was served for dessert. “The design of the food was very simple, but the taste met the expectations of dinner,” admitted Miķelis. “Dessert was a bomb,” Felipe praised it.
In the evening, the housewife demonstrated to the guests how many different voices she can speak, which especially delighted Inese.
The entertainment at Vita turned out to be quite exciting – the guests had to choose a musical instrument and play a melody so that the others could remember it, and the diners, overwhelmed by the excitement of the game, smiled.
“In this entertainment, Miķelis and Felipe collaborated outside the rules, because I think Felipe was playing different music and Miķelis guessed another song, and then we did the same with Vita,” Inese revealed.
Vita received 28 points from the trio for a merry evening and expensive dinner.
