Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) said on Friday that a mouse jumped out of a passenger’s lunch box. The incident happened on Wednesday on a flight between Oslo and Malaga, and the plane had to make an emergency landing in Copenhagen.
The AFP news agency reports that a passenger on the plane Jarle Borrestad told about the incident on his Facebook page.
– Believe it or not. The woman next to me opened her food and a mouse jumped out, she wrote.
Mice and other rodents are generally not welcome on flights, as they can chew on, for example, the plane’s electric cables. SAS spokesperson Oystein Schmidt told AFP that passengers switched to another plane in Copenhagen.
– This happens extremely rarely, says Schmidt.
