Not only presence is an issue, but also the way Take-Two offers them. Purchasing content with VC does not make it mandatory to use real money, but collecting the requested amount during the gameplay is difficult, time consuming, and the process has been described as inconsistent. With this, Take-Two can entice players to buy VCs, and because they offer discounts on larger packs, they can buy even more than they need. The nature of the VC is also called problematic: it puts the player psychologically away from the real money he kills into the game because it separates the spending of real money from the products that players end up buying with the VC.

This can be a problem especially for younger players because they may not have a correlation between the VCs spent and the real money. Transactions are costly because we may have already spent as much as $ 100 (~ $ 32-33,000) on the game, and then there are these additional costs, which can result in an amazing amount for a single game. The process of purchasing a VC is easy and convenient, and the non-correlation of DLC pricing with VC packages (always more than you really need) is another reason behind the claim, and the lack / fog of the VC refund policy should be mentioned. .

Lootboxes contain random items, and odds (odds of acquisition) aren’t public, so players are dragged into a tube: they buy more and more so that the next lootbox might finally come up with what the player is looking for.

The plaintiff in the case is a minor represented by his guardian. He asks that the lawsuit be classified as a class action. Actual and compensatory damages are sought in the lawsuit.
