A new low pressure is on its way to Western Norway.
–
After the weekend’s bucket bucket, you might have thought that summer was over. It is not quite there yet, says meteorologist Ingrid Halland Soldal at the Meteorological Institute.
– Today is a nice day here in Western Norway. I do not think we get very high temperatures, but never say never, says Soldal.
Up to 20 degrees
– If I look out my office window now, I see that there is still morning fog over the city, says meteorologist Lillian Bergheim at Stormgeo around 10 o’clock.
– It is probably status most places in Western Norway on Tuesday morning, she says.
Despite morning fog, it is likely to be a lot of sun and up to 20 degrees in large parts of the county, according to the meteorologist’s forecasts.
It will be coldest along the coast, where it can blow up to gale force on Tuesday afternoon.
– Wind from the northwest will probably put a damper on the summer mood along the coast. But if you recover, it should go well, says meteorologist Lillian Bergheim from Stormgeo.
– In the Hordaland area, there may be a light gale along the coast on Tuesday afternoon, and the same on Wednesday. Further north in the county, it can blow up to a stiff gale, says Soldal.
Precipitation on the way
Wednesday the weather changes. According to meteorologists, it will be cloudy and temperatures will fall.
– Wednesday will be a grayer than today. It is expected that it will be cloudy, and there will be some precipitation, says Bergheim.
It will be around 15 degrees during the day in most of the county.
– It seems to be changing weather. There may be periods of inclement weather and sun, and then there may be a few drops occasionally. But it is not a question of large amounts of precipitation, says Soldal.
Both Wednesday and Thursday there are good chances for rain.
– But Thursday seems to be nicer than Wednesday. There will still be clouds and scattered rain, but more sun, says Bergheim.
