FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA– Activist Nicho Silalahi also highlighted a viral video on TikTok about Indonesian citizens in Taipei who had cast ballots for the 2024 election. The General Election Commission (KPU) itself has declared the incident invalid.
Nicho Silalahi said there was potential for fraud in the 2024 presidential election abroad that could be carried out by the ruling regime.
“There are ± 10 million votes from abroad. This significant potential vote has the potential to belong to the authorities,” wrote Nicho on the X account @Nicho_Silalahi, Thursday (28/12/2023).
Nicho said that the position of Ambassador (Ambassador) has a role in influencing Indonesian citizens abroad to choose presidential candidates.
“It is an open secret that whoever the Ambassador is, you can be sure that they are controlling the votes. In order to create truly fair play elections, foreign votes should not be eliminated,” he said.
Nicho Silalahi then brought up the statement again by Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Masinton Pasaribu regarding allegations of election fraud abroad.
“Do you still remember when Bro @Masinton shouted that there was fraud taking place overseas?,” he said.
It is known that in the 2019 election, Masinton, who at that time was a legislative candidate for PDIP Dapil 2 DKI, admitted that he had detected fraudulent practices in the general elections held in Malaysia.
Even before the recent discovery of ballot papers in Malaysia, the incumbent legislative candidate said that dirty practices in Malaysia had been going on for a long time.
