Once on the subject of spending money, Olaf Scholz didn’t want to stop venting his anger. “We are already mobilizing billions for climate protection, for better schools, new roads and social housing,” said the SPD politician. “And at the end of the year we regularly find that a lot of money is not being called up.” And no, unfortunately that is not an isolated case, emphasized Scholz, but a permanent problem that is increasing “from year to year”.
