With these words, the honorable chairman of the DPS, Ahmed Dogan, addressed the fund, which he collected from the Central Operations Bureau (COB) of the party on Tuesday. At the meeting, the president Delyan Peevski and several other activists were expelled from the movement.

“I am convinced that the gentlemen did not read the closing Art. 6. He is the negative side of our story. Our negative experience. It is a painful experience. There is a certain philosophy behind this, even in some ways very passive – there is a temporary exclusion, the relevant person can be given a chance to correct himself. But there is also a harder part that is already uncertain. And we stick to the harder part because the boy overdid it. There is no turning back for him, but there is no turning back for us either,” Dogan said in a video released by the party’s press center.

“Remember – this decision is expected by all of Bulgaria. I’m even already hearing stories like this – it’s not a question of saving DPS, but saving Bulgaria. This is a real conversation. So I’m very happy with that. It was about time it happened,” said Dogan.

“CSO is the panacea, CSO is the guillotine for such cases. Just as Ilhan (Kyuchuk – br) said, I think it was about 10 years ago, related to Mestan, then the team did everything possible and I participated in this process – without turning the CSO into a guillotine. There are other organs. For example, according to the statute, Peevski and Revanski can be excluded by places from the municipal and regional structures, they can be excluded from the CSO. Read this text carefully. They haven’t read it, unfortunately, but maybe for the better. So especially on the movement of the honorable chairman, especially in times of crisis – his powers are heavy. Even from the act of July 10, when I asked to resign, to leave the positions they had, they are already, according to all the legal rules (can be discussed here and there), they are no longer members. My only suggestion, my very call for them to withdraw – that is enough. In this case, I am the authority at a higher level, even than the CSO,” Dogan continued.
