On the anniversary of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, Ukrainian show business stars shared on Instagram their memories of how they survived February 24, 2022. The Internet edition “GORDON” has collected the stories of celebrities.
“Never in my life have I been so scared as in the early days of a full-scale war. Not our war, which has become our reality. I met this first day in my house, free, scared, together with friends, – wrote Ukrainian singer Nadya Dorofeeva. “At that moment, no one knew what to do.”
She posted a photo of their archive, which captures the first day of full-scale war in a shelter under the stairs with friends. The artist noted that at that time she no longer lived with her now ex-husband, Ukrainian singer Dantes.
Ukrainian presenter Yuri Gorbunov confessed that he and his wife and colleague Katya Osadchaya were not ready for a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
“A year ago at 4.20 there was an explosion, from which we woke up. The house shuddered! They jumped, opened the curtains –columns of smoke from the explosion are not far from us! I grab the phone – there are already unanswered calls and messages: “Wake up, we are being bombed,” Gorbunov wrote.
He said that he and his wife had not even packed their “disturbing suitcases”.
“The tanks in the car are empty, the refrigerator is almost empty! But it was the children who made us come to our senses and act! A year has passed. A year that has changed us all! We believe that the new year will be victorious! There is not a drop of doubt”, – noted Gorbunov.
Also in my memories shared Ukrainian singer Zlata Ognevich.
“All my life I will remember that February morning, the explosions outside the window and the quiet voice of my mother on the phone: “Daughter, take care of yourself. I love you very much, – written by the artist. – A year has passed – and I can say just like a year ago, before a full-scale invasion, – there is no suitcase that can fit my family, country, achievements, everything that I love so much. And so I stay here at home. Here is my heart.”
Ukrainian singer Olya Polyakova remembered , as after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, she recorded an appeal to Russian artists with an appeal not to hush up the war. According to the singer, then she did not yet know that it was pointless, since most Russians are “freaks”.
According to the artist, now she is at home.
“And I don’t want to go anywhere. What this war did to us, to our country, instilled in me the desire to be here, so that my children live here, because we are the best, most courageous nation in the world and we will overcome everything! evil spirits from our land and we will live in our country”, she added.
