The level of risk from COVID in Mexico is decreasing, as the epidemiological traffic light is already does not report entities on maximum alert (Red color).
Mexico will start March with 10 high-risk states (orange): Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro, State of Mexico, Mexico City, Morelos, Puebla, Oaxaca, Tabasco and Yucatán.

Of the 20 entities at medium risk, Baja California Sur, Coahuila, Zacatecas, Nayarit, Michoacán, Colima, Aguascalientes, Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, Veracruz, Jalisco, Quintana Roo registered a sufficient decrease in their indicators to go from orange to yellow.

Two more (Campeche and Chiapas) in low risk or green color. The epidemiological traffic light will be in effect from March 1 to 14, authorities said in Press conference.
This Friday, Mexico reached the number of 184 thousand 474 deaths confirmed by COVID-19.
It also registered a 22% decrease in the trend of estimated cases between week 5 and 6 of the year.
The percentage of positivity among suspected cases is 28%, they reported at a press conference.
