He stressed that “the United States will not back down from challenging Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Hamas movement, because they are fighting to erase a neighboring democracy.”
He stressed the importance of “breaking the cycle of violence and building something stronger in Gaza and throughout the Middle East so that history does not repeat itself.”
He said, “The Palestinians deserve to have their own state and to have a future in which there is no Hamas.”
