Former Health Minister Hamad Hassan commented on social media about the issue of the high price of some local medicines which exceeds the price of imported ones, saying, “Be proud of your concern for medicine in domestic industry in terms of quality and price, and struggle to raise subsidies for it, until the mulberry leaf fell like a curtain of your shortcomings. Its price has become many times higher than its imported counterpart, and your weak slogan is health of the citizen. And he underlined that “what is being done in silence to this people is amazing: there is no medicine, no cure, no echo of pain, except deafening cries and sumptuous promises”.
