There is no escape from the gnawing thought that someone decides to pleasure themselves without being aware of it – 2024-08-16 01:53:15

/ world today news/ For the first time this season I slept with a closed window. Not because of the cold – it’s still pleasantly cool at night. And because of the noise (yes, Mr. Valeri Simeonov – because of the noise) from the nearby restaurant.

Both last night and the night before, Serbian and gypsy music kept the residents of the panels in the Kyustendil “Zapad” housing complex awake until 1:30 – 2 a.m. It was certainly heard at the town hall and at the RDVR, but neither the municipal guard nor the police moved. Yesterday there was a lot of arguing about September 9, but in the past, such impudence could not pass. At the very least, they would oblige the restaurateur that the music be predominantly Bulgarian. Not to mention the patrolling volunteer squads, who at such decibels would inevitably be checked, and especially the militia, who might as well take someone away if the banging continued. Now I think that even the noise is not the most unpleasant thing in such cases. One can put earplugs in one’s ears, close the window, turn one’s head and save the situation to some extent. But there is no escape from the nagging thought that someone decides to enjoy himself without knowing it, that he disturbs the peace of others, and that too in the wee hours. And not in an entertainment area, but in one of the city’s bedrooms, as the zhekata were ironically called before. A lot was written yesterday about how, after September 9, a group did what they wanted without regard for anyone. The difference is that now any group can afford it, regardless of whether it’s a Romany wedding, a party for another playmate’s birthday, a noisy company party, a youth party or a self-forgotten restaurateur.
