Amir Mortada Mansour, the general supervisor of the Zamalek football team, sent a message to the fans and players, in which he stressed that Zamalek is looking to win all the championships and that the Super Championship defeat to Al-Ahly represents a strong push to reach all the leagues the team participates in this season.
Amir Mortada said on the official Zamalek channel: “We play to win all the tournaments we participate in. We have to be patient. We have a better team now than the one who managed to win championships and cups last season”.
He added: “Losing the Super title to Al-Ahly is painful, but it will definitely be a strong push for us to win championships. We certainly didn’t criticize the players or the device after the defeat, but rather gave them full support for continue the path of success and fulfill the aspirations of loyal fans.
He continued: “We were exposed to difficult circumstances last season and played with a list of 14 players, and despite these circumstances we managed to preserve the Scudetto. I ask the fans to support and support the team in the next period, and we must believe that we now have a better team. “
Amir commented on the crisis of the team player, Imam Ashour, saying: “There is no crisis, the imam is a good player and he loves Zamalek. For the next two seasons with Zamalek, and of course we want to change his contract because he he has become one of the main pillars of the team and of the Egyptian national team ”.
Regarding the new agreement file, he said: “We have hired good players, they just had bad luck, but I’m sure they will all be successful deals and benefit the club in the near future.”
