Fourteen people were arrested for violating article 318 of the Penal Code, after the Carabineros detected a new clandestine party in a shed located on Calle San Pablo, in the commune of Quinta Normal.
Faced with complaints about annoying noises, personnel from the 22nd Police Station of Quinta Normal attended the place. Although in the first instance they did not open the door, police officials returned to the scene around 2:30.
“Carabineros remain outside the barn for a prudent time, surprisingly leaving around 70 individuals, arresting 14 of them,” said Captain Claudia Arce, round officer of the West Prefecture.
Of the total number of detainees, thirteen are of Peruvian and Bolivian nationality. Seven of those apprehended are men and six are women of legal age, in addition to a minor.
According to Captain Arce, two women admitted to being the organizers, who would have commented that it was a birthday party. 91 beer bottles were seized at the site, in addition to musical instruments and speakers. Four of the detainees will go to detention control.
“It is not the first time that parties are held in that place. There are repeated calls from neighbors for annoying noises, but this time the arrest is achieved, since said shed is totally isolated and with cameras that manage to see the people who are at outside, which is why they never open the doors to Carabineros “, explained Captain Arce.
