There is interest in the tests, the ministry has launched a reservation website

The deadlines for antigen testing on covid-19 at sampling points where reservations are already possible are rapidly being filled, especially in Prague. The greatest interest is in the pre-Christmas days, for example, some Prague hospitals have free dates only after Christmas.

The Ministry of Health has launched website of the Central Reservation System, where the public will find, among other things, an overview of collection points in individual regions and links where it is possible to book an appointment. However, according to the information on the website, the data on the utilization of consumption points are still incomplete.

“We are constantly working on replenishment, but the cooperation of the providers of individual reservation systems of consumption points to the Central Reservation System is necessary. If capacity data is not available, please make a reservation directly according to the link in the detail of a specific supply point, “it says on the website.

According to Vladimír Dzurilla, the government’s commissioner for IT and digitization, those places that have their own reservation system now need to connect to a central portal. Only in this way will it be possible to see all reservations and the occupancy of individual places. “Next week, we hope to have a third and gradually that it will start,” Dzurilla told Radiožurnál. He added, however, that they could not force anyone to change their reservation system.

Some hospitals launched their own reservation system on Friday, in Prague it was, for example, the Central Military Hospital, the Royal Vinohrady University Hospital or the Thomayer Hospital. Many people already have free dates after Christmas. For the time being, Na Bulovce Hospital is informing on its website about the possibility of ordering antigen tests only for pedagogical staff, which is planned for December 18, as is the University Hospital in Motol. From private collection points operated by laboratories, people can register, for example, those operated by EUC, City Lab or Prevedig.

Those interested can also book a place via the Internet for antigen tests in hospitals in Most and Ústí nad Labem, where sampling tents will operate. Even in the Ústí nad Labem hospital, there are no free dates before Christmas Day.

So far, there is sufficient capacity for antigen testing on covid-19 for the public at the T. Bata Regional Hospital in Zlín. Also in the Moravian-Silesian Region, the capacity is still sufficient. During Friday, 50 people registered at the University Hospital Ostrava, and in Vítkovice, where the hospital is run by Agel, they are individuals.

It is not yet possible to register, for example, in the Karlovy Vary region. The reservation system, which is operated by firefighters in the region via a single line, is currently being prepared for orders for voluntary testing. Martin Kasal, a spokesman for the regional fire brigade, said this. The Liberec hospital will launch the reservation system early next week. In the Hradec Králové Region, the reservation system in some hospitals is still being prepared for this variant, as are hospitals in the Pardubice Region.

Antigen testing for covid-19 will be launched to the public on December 18 and will be covered by health insurance, so people do not have to pay anything directly at the point of collection.
