There is an engine problem, Citilink Banjarmasin-Jakarta route lands in Semarang

KOMPAS.com-Airline plane Citilink Flight number QG 483 for Banjarmasin-Jakarta route emergency landing at General Ahmad Yani International Airport, Semarang City, Central Java.

The landing which took place on Sunday (15/5/2022) occurred because the Airbus A320 plane had a malfunction in one of its engines.

General Manager of AirNav Indonesia Branch Semarang Mi’wan Muhammad Bunay said the plane landed at General Ahmad Yani International Airport at 12.32 WIB.

“One of the engines was damaged, so he had to make an emergency landing at General A Yani International Airport, Semarang, the landing went safely and well,” Mi’wan said when contacted on Sunday, as reported by the Jakarta Post. ANTARA.

Stakeholder Relations Manager General Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang Heri Trisno Wibowo added that all passengers on the Citilink plane that landed in an emergency condition were safe.

“A total of 146 Citilink passengers survived,” he said.

After receiving the information, he continued, all officers at General Ahmad Yani International Airport were on standby until the Citilink QG 483 plane landed safely until it arrived at the “parking stand” location.

“Furthermore, all passengers disembark and are directed to the terminal waiting room for further processing which will be handled by the airline,” he said when confirmed separately.
