The students of the Higher Degree in Oral Hygiene at the IES Valle del Cidacos already have a teacher for the subject of ‘Education for oral health’. The Department of Education has reported this afternoon that a teacher has been hired to fill this position, after a group of students from the second year of this specialty yesterday expressed their discomfort and concern through the media for not being able to attend classes of this subject from the beginning of the course, because there was no teacher to teach the subject. In any case, Education states that this position was vacant because its holder is on medical leave. At first, the Ministry, as required, made a call to all the teachers who are on interim lists to fill the vacancy without anyone showing interest, so it went to the SEPE in search of candidates.
With this hiring, at the IES Valle del Cidacos three teaching positions would remain to be filled: a part-time position to teach Latin, another part-time position for the subject of Electrotechnical and Automatic Systems, as well as the position of a professor of IT that is on leave.
