There is a warning against the “Hungarian scenario”. “They have cleaned up to date”

– The market fears high budget expenditures and high inflation. Next year, the government has to borrow PLN 260 billion and our country’s budget situation translates into the budget situation of every Polish family – says Rafał Benecki, chief economist of ING Bank Śląski in the Money.pl program, answering the question if something is wrong with Polish finances. He warned against the Hungarian scenario, where before the elections Orban served Hungary a huge jump in budget spending, which led to a jump in inflation and a weakening of the forint. According to him, the central bank “must clean up after this jump to date”. – There are rules. When it rains, there are puddles. When the elections go, the costs are higher. Now we have to convince the markets that it will rain, but there will be no puddles – summarizes the expert from ING.
