There is a war on the Advance discount and its destroyer, the price is like this

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Toward the end of the year, competition between the best-selling cars in RI was still fierce up until the last month. The Toyota Avanza and Honda Brio are battling with factory-to-dealer (wholesale) sales of more than 55,000 units.

Through November 2022, each had total sales of 55,631 units for Avanza and Brio sold 55,318, the difference between the two being just 313 units.

In November alone, the Brio was again able to assert its position as RI’s best-selling car by sales 7,102 units (Honda Brio RS and Satya). Meanwhile, Avanza was only able to finish in seventh place with 3,859 units.

It turns out that in terms of price, both are cars under IDR 300 million. The price for the Brio ranges from IDR 157.9 million to IDR 237.4 million, while the Avanza ranges from IDR 233.1 million to IDR 295.8 million.

But towards the end of the year, official dealers both sell year-end discounts. The value of the discount reaches double digits and is valid only until the end of this year.

“Brio during normal times cash back Rp. 5 million, if you take it now it will be Rp. 12 million, there is an additional cash back of 7 million, quite big,” the Honda salesman told CNBC Indonesia, quoted on Tuesday ( 27/12/2022).

The current price for the Brio RS MT is Rp.217.600.000, if you subtract Rp.12.000.000 it becomes Rp.205.600.000. Meanwhile, the regular price for Brio RS CVT is IDR 227,600,000, after discounted it becomes IDR 215,600,000.

Meanwhile, the official Toyota Auto 2000 dealer is also offering a discount of IDR 14,000,000 for all types of Avanza, from the lowest to the highest grade.

For example, the lowest grade of 1.3 M/T has a starting price of IDR 233,100,000. After being discounted, it is now IDR 219,100,000. The automatic type also gets the same discount, i.e. the 1.3 A/T type from IDR 247,800,000 to IDR 233,800,000.
