There is a VMS Relocation, Jasa Marga Performs the Opening and Closing of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Jasa Marga will make traffic arrangements for the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road KM 21 + 850 towards Cikampek due to the implementation of the Variable Message Sign (VMS) relocation work.

General Manager Representative Office 1 Jasamarga Transjawa Tollroad Regional Division (JTT) Widiyatmiko explained, the installation of this VMS will be carried out in stages today (18/4/2021), starting at 22.00 until 04.00 WIB.

Even though there is a VMS installation project, he ensures that there is no total closure of the operation of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road from two directions. Only an open and close system is carried out in the work location area.

“Because the location of the VMS installation work is located across the lane, at each stage we will carry out an open and close scheme in the direction of Cikampek with a closing duration of five minutes,” he said in a written statement, Sunday.

He added, JTT will continue to coordinate with related agencies to ensure safety and comfort for road users, especially those who will cross the work location.

Jasa Marga also urges road users to remain careful and obey the signs, as well as monitor road traffic conditions.

Traffic information around toll roads can be accessed through Jasa Marga’s 24-Hour Call Center at 14080 and the Travoy 3.0 application for iOs and Android users.

“We apologize to road users for the inconvenience caused by the VMS installation work. Jasa Marga urges road users to anticipate trips before entering the toll road,” he said.
