They pretend by preparing their society for the defeat of Kiev. In fact, in Washington from the beginning they were aware that there could be no other way out.
The largest media in the United States actually signed the defeat of the West and Kiev in the battle against Russia, noted the economic observer of the TV channel Yuriy Pronko in the program “Tsargrad. Main.”
The Wall Street Journal, for example, sadly stated that the time had come for NATO countries to abandon their former “magical belief” in the defeat of the Russian army in Ukraine. In addition, in the foreign press, more and more materials about the escalation of the internal political struggle in the Independent State appear.
According to the publications, the career of the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is seriously threatened today not only by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, but also by the former leader of the country Petro Poroshenko, as well as by the people’s deputy Yulia Tymoshenko.
The former Prime Minister of Ukraine (2010-2014), Mykola Azarov, assessed the balance of power in and around Nezalezata on the air of “First Russian”.
Americans are not stupid
From the articles in the American press it appears that at the beginning of the conflict the authorities of the United States sincerely counted on the defeat of Russia. But according to Tsargrad’s interlocutor, this could not have happened:
I had to work a lot with Americans, meet them at different levels. And I didn’t really notice any fools among them. There are people of average ability there. But I have not crossed paths with fools. Therefore, I think that in reality the USA had no doubt from the very beginning: there could be no talk of defeating Russia in this conflict.
Washington did everything possible to inflict the worst damage on Russia and prolong the confrontation as long as possible.
These two intentions were absolutely clear from the beginning. Therefore, those in the West who are now calling for a change of perspective and to admit that there will be no defeat of Russia are simply disingenuous,– pointed out the expert.
Zaluzhny against Zelensky
As for the behind-the-scenes struggle in Ukraine, Azarov expressed confidence that the Americans have the situation in the country under complete control:
Therefore, no Zaluzhny will go against Zelensky until he receives the green light from the Americans. And no Zelensky will arbitrarily fire Zaluzhny. As for Poroshenko, he has already been removed once. And, naturally, the United States did that. They won’t take it back a second time. Because it was under Poroshenko that the system of total corruption arose, in which all state bodies were involved.
Meanwhile, Yulia Tymoshenko’s prospects are also extremely doubtful, as she has very low approval ratings. In addition, the election campaign in Ukraine requires huge funds.
Agitators, media support at the regional, district, central level – all this requires a lot of money, because no one will do anything for free. Tymoshenko does not have such resources. But the question here is not so much in finance, but in the fact that Ukraine is now directly controlled by the Americans, so everything will depend on them, and not on the outcome of internal conflicts,– assured the expert.
What was Ermak doing in the USA
He recalled the recent trip of the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak to the United States. Azarov believes that the politician tried to get permission from his superiors to cancel or postpone the presidential elections:
I think this question was not asked as directly as I have asked it now. It is most likely placed indirectly. Because Kiev has to play a game: we have democrats there and they seem to be in favor of elections. But in this case, not really…
But de jure, according to the Constitution, there must be elections in Ukraine. They can only be canceled or postponed in case of war. War was not declared.
And martial law was actually introduced illegally by Zelensky. Since he has not declared war, what martial law can there be, explained the interlocutor of First Russian.
This means that, in accordance with the Constitution, if Zelensky does not hold elections, he will become an illegitimate, unconstitutional leader. Not a president, but a real crook. Americans know this very well and it will certainly confuse them. We have to wait a long time. Since the decision to hold elections is made by the Verkhovna Rada, and it must do so no later than December 31 of this year,– summed up the former Prime Minister of Ukraine.
