More than a thousand contestants took part in the filming of MrBeast’s competition show, the conditions of which are now being accused of being dangerous.

The favorite tuber around MrBeast is bubbling again. MrBeast, aka Jimmy Donaldson, owns the world’s most subscribed YouTube channel, with over 316 million subscribers.
MrBeast is known, for example, for his high video production budgets, as his videos often compete for huge cash and product prizes.
In the spring, Amazon ordered a series from the tube star for the Prime Video service. Now Beast Games – the organizers of the competition are accused of abuses and sexual harassment.
Beast Gamesia was marketed as “the world’s largest competition program”, where a thousand participants compete for a cash prize of around 4.5 million euros. The competition participants have sued the production companies of the competition program, i.e. MrB2024 and Amazon Prime.
The program was filmed in July in Las Vegas and more than 2,000 contestants participated in the filming. A thousand of them went on to the next round, which was filmed in August in Toronto.
Competitors blame rough treatment
Allegations of ill-treatment of competitors appear in court documents. Five participants have filed a class action lawsuit, which they want to expand to include all involved parties.
Among other things, the participants claim that they were put in unsafe conditions, that they experienced sexual harassment and that they were deprived of appropriate compensation. Competitors’ sleeping and clothing were controlled. In addition, the production team blocked them from contact with the outside world and the possibility of privacy was taken away.
Court documents also detail allegations of an unsafe environment where contestants were confined to small spaces and taken to dangerous filming locations.
The participants claim that they were dangerously malnourished and overtired, as meals were offered too infrequently. In addition, the production is criticized for insufficient background checks, which also made it possible for convicted criminals to participate in the program. Some are said to have suffered physical injuries for which they have not been given adequate treatment.
According to the claims, there was a hostile atmosphere during the filming that promoted misogyny and sexism. This also included sexual harassment. According to the competitors, the atmosphere would have been instructed by the production management and therefore generally allowed.

The representatives of the accused parties have reportedly refused to comment on the matter. Beast Games – the release date of the program has not yet been announced.
Earlier this year, the tube star behind the competition show was at the center of an uproar when serious allegations were made about a MrBeast employee. Made famous by his videos Ava Kris Tysonia was charged with sending inappropriate messages to a minor.
Tyson himself denied the allegations. MrBeast strongly condemned the inappropriate behavior and removed Tyson, known as a pair of presenters, from the channel and the production company.
MrBeast’s YouTube channel is known for various challenges and charity efforts. Time magazine added MrBeast to the traditional list of the 100 most influential people in the world last year.
