/ world today news/ There are pre-trial proceedings due to the lack of a lot of money from the treasury of the Corporate Commercial Bank. This is what Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Tsvetlin Yovchev told journalists in the parliament.
“There is evidence of a serious criminal offense and it is being investigated,” Yovchev said.
He also said that there is no information on the whereabouts of the ex-owner of KTB, Tsvetan Vassilev, and whether he will be searched for would be decided by the investigating authorities.
According to Yovchev, it is an exaggeration to say that there is a threat to national security because of the problems with the bank.
How much money is missing from KTB from now on, only the supervising prosecutor could say.
“The prosecutor’s office cannot act in any other way than lawfully, it cannot act expediently,” said Minister Yovchev.
