TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – There are clinical and laboratory similarities between Covid-19 and Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever during the initial incubation period.

Therefore, Griffith University Epidemiologist Dicky Budiman said the main step that needs to be considered is to sharpen the diagnosis.

“There is a tendency for misdiagnosis. In the laboratory there is a tendency that leads to the same characteristics. Even with PCR tests and monitoring it will be clearer,” said Dicky to Tribunnews, Friday (22/7/2022).

However, sharpening the diagnosis so that there is no misdiagnosis is a problem at the regional level.

Because there are still areas that have limited access to health workers.
