From Mosnov Airport, LOT will fly to Warsaw on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and Embraer E-170s will depart in the opposite direction on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

LOT was scheduled to start the airline in the spring, but its launch was delayed due to coronavirus. Jaromír Radkovský, CEO of Ostrava Airport, which operates LLJO, believes that the new airline will play an important role in the development of the region in its economic recovery after returning to normal regime after the end of the pandemic.

“Air connections are important for ensuring the mobility of the region’s inhabitants and will significantly help current and new investors. At the same time, it will allow passengers a simple and convenient connection with the whole world, “he pointed out.
–
He added that LOT set the flight schedule of the route so that the arrival in Warsaw followed the departures to Amsterdam, Munich, Paris, Zurich, Milan, Geneva, Oslo, Frankfurt or Düsseldorf.
–
LOT spokesman Krzysztof Moczulski noted that the journey from Mosnov to Warsaw takes about an hour. “The Czech Republic is an important market for us and Ostrava is its second airport to which LOT flies. We are glad that, despite the difficult epidemiological situation, we have finally managed to connect the region with more than 60 destinations, “he added.

The regular airline to Warsaw is now the only one flying from LLJO. From the end of March, Ryanair should resume a regular service to London. No planes are flying from Brno, for example.
