Former North Macedonian coach to become Legia’s new coach? The local media say so
The official announcements of the board show that the team will be led by at least until the winter break Marek Gołębiewski. In government offices Laws however, an intense search for a new coach is underway. In this context, many names have already passed, but there are still no particulars. The media has already informed about such figures as Marek Papszun, Stanisław Czerczesow, Jorgos Donis or even Michał Prśmie, who was dismissed from Cracovia.

Now, however, another foreign coach has appeared among the candidates – Igor Angełowskias reported by the Macedonian media. According to Ekipa.mk, the former coach of the North Macedonian national team would be the perfect coach to deal with the situation in Legia and would be of interest to the club’s authorities. His employment may not be easy, however, as he is also targeted by Bulgarian Łudogorec Razgrad, who may offer him better financial conditions.
Igor Angłowski in his coaching career worked only in one club – Rabotniczki Skopje, where he was the sports director for five years. He took the position of a coach only in the season 2013/2014, in which he immediately won the championship. In 2015, he first became an assistant and then an independent manager of the North Macedonian national team. The 45-year-old introduced his team for the first time in history to a great tournament – Euro 2020. After the European Championships, he left the post and has been unemployed until now.
