There is a gymnasium for schools and sports clubs

PETRIGNANO DI ASSISI – The “Francesco Pennacchi” high school gymnasium has been established: it will be a structure that serves school activities and sports clubs. The renovation project, financed by the National Recovery and Stabilization Plan (Pnrr) by the Ministry of Education for a sum of 924,000 euros, aims at the sports infrastructure that serves the school “Pennacchi” strengthen but also the “Luigi Masi” foundation. The new gymnasium is available not only for school sports activities but also for local sports clubs and the whole community to host interesting events and conferences, with a capacity of around 250 seats.

And now some technical notes: the work on the gym, which started in June 2023, included structural and plant improvements such as seismic modification of the pre-built structure, installation of new audio and alarm systems, re- improvement of changing rooms, bathrooms. and the play area, renovation of fixtures and external facades, insulation and waterproofing of the roof, strengthening of external lighting.

Many students were present at the ceremony who, together with the principal and the teachers, gave a boost to the dedication with dance and music. Also present were parents, representatives of the municipal administration, municipal technicians and external partners who contributed to the performance of the work.
