“At the moment, epidemiological proceedings are underway by the competent sanitary authorities” – Polish Radio spokesman Piotr Müller informed the Polish Radio.

Piotr Müller explained that for this reason Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki asked President Andrzej Duda to change the date of the swearing-in. – This date will be set by the president when all the circumstances are clear – added the government spokesman.

In the afternoon, the government spokesman announced that Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin, Minister of National Education Dariusz Piontkowski, head of the Chancellery of Prime Minister Michał Dworczyk and Deputy Minister of Climate Jacek Ozdoba were sent to quarantine.

As Müller assures, the decision to quarantine members of the Council of Ministers does not adversely affect the proper functioning of the government. “The government has been debating via videoconference for many months or accepts documents by circulation,” the spokesman explained.
