Inter played a very strong match against Barcelona at the Camp Nou. A draw means that Barcelona will most likely not be part of the Champions League play-offs for the second consecutive season.

The home team would have preferred a win to keep their promotion hopes alive. With two games to go, Barcelona are only three points clear of Inter Milan, but Milan now only need to beat the last team of Viktoria Plzen in the next round. Because there was a 1-0 victory for Inter in last week’s match in Milan. Inter therefore have a better goal difference than Barcelona, should they end up with the same number of points.
It started so well for Barcelona. Just before half-time, Ousmane Dembélé struck 1-0.
But the first 18 minutes after the break was nothing short of a nightmare. First Nicolò Barella equalized at 5 ‘of the interval, 13 minutes later Lautaro Martínez made the 1-2 beautifully after a shot that went through both posts and ended up on goal.
Ten minutes before the end, Robert Lewandowski gave birth to hope. The shot went through Alessandro Bastoni and into goal for the 2–2. Shortly before full time, the home fans had another cold shower when Robin Gosens scored 2-3.
It wasn’t supposed to be Lewandowski in today’s game. In extra time he scored 3-3, but even though they were chasing the winning goal, he never made it. Therefore, the advancement is no longer in the hands of Barcelona.

Barcelona have invested heavily in the transfer market this summer, among other things, bringing Lewandowski from Bayern Munich.
– It is a crisis for the Barcelona football team not to qualify for the play-offs for the second consecutive year. Especially for a club that is already under severe financial pressure, said TV 2 reporter Christina Paulos Syversen.
Bayern Munich and Viktoria Plzen are the other two teams in the group. Bayern won 4–2 against Plzen and therefore have a full pot after four games. Plzen has zero points.
