The new coach of the Czech national hockey team, Kari Jalonen, nominated players for the first part of the preparatory camp this week. But changes have now taken place during it. Three hockey players left the team, one joined.
The Czech hockey national team currently has a training camp in Pilsen, where the team is preparing for the May World Cup. However, three players dropped out of the originally nominated players. They are all missing for health reasons. They are defenders David Jiříček from Pilsen, Ronald Knot from Nižněkamsko and forward Dominik Lakatoš from Vítkovice.
However, it is not at all impossible that all three could appear in the national team next week. The Pilsen back David Kvasnička has recently joined the team. There will be a lot of changes in the nomination before the start of the World Cup. The World Championships are scheduled for May 13-29 in Finland, specifically in Helsinki and Tampere.
Before that, the program includes a preparatory double match with Austria, then with Germany and then with Slovakia. They will be followed by the Czech Hockey Games and the Swedish Hockey Games.
