It is a scenario that especially entrepreneurs in Renesse are afraid of: that the good image will be smashed again in one go. Because Renesse is no longer the youth village of 15 years ago. The center has been given a major makeover, only two of the nine nightlife bars remain and the youth campsites have been transformed into family-friendly holiday resorts. Previously, Renesse was mainly in the news because of drunken young people who fought with each other en masse and caused nuisance. Corona, or rather the measures that accompany it, seem to ensure the return of that specter.
