Techno live – Cells of alien life or alien it can be detected in the jets of water that flow from one moon belonging to the planets Saturnaccording to experts.
Enceladusone of the planet’s 83 moons, it’s a strong contender for finding life in the solar system because it has oceans of warm, salty water under a thick layer of ice.
Sending a probe through cracks in the ice to collect samples was tricky, but scientists have now confirmed that signs of life can be detected in plumes of water vapor rising from the surface.
In a new study, experts from the University of Arizona and PSL Research University in Paris have calculated that there may be enough life on Enceladus for cells and other organic molecules to be expelled through the plume.
“Our research shows that if a biosphere – an area with living organisms – is present in Enceladus’ oceans, signs of its presence can be detected without the need for land or drilling,” said Antonin Affholder of PSL Research University in Paris.
Such a mission would require the orbiter to fly through a puff of smoke to collect a large amount of materials, citing the website The TelegraphThursday 29 December 2022.
