There Are Sad Astronauts When They See Earth from Space, Why?

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Living on the International Space Station (ISS), apparently did not make NASA astronaut Megan McArthur happy. He even admitted to being sad when he saw Earth from space.

The cause is the case of severe fires that occurred in many places in the world. One of those disasters occurred in the United States (US).

So severe, some of the forest fires can even be seen from space.

“We are very sad to see fires across much of the Earth, not just the United States,” said Megan McArthur.

He added that for years scientists around the world had been warning about the threat. To tackle wildfires, Megan McArthur says it takes the entire global community.

“This is a warning to the entire global community. It takes the entire global community to face this and overcome these challenges.” he said.

Forest fires in the form of smoke clouds of astronomical proportions are visible in satellite imagery. It occurs in many places from Siberia, Greece, Spain to the Pacific Northwest.

This forest fire disaster also makes countries in the world work extra hard. For example, the US must struggle to recruit enough officers to deal with forest fires.

It is also reported that this year Turkey has been hit hard by forest fires.
