Yusi said that even some vehicles, such as ambulances, were also used to freely move around providing supplies to the rioters. In addition, private vehicles were used by parties facilitating the riot.
“This is a new mode now, there are those using ambulances that are free to move, there are also private vehicles that we have all detected, we are exploring,” said Yusri.
Yusri explained that private vehicles and ambulances did not only prepare food for the demonstrators. A number of vehicles were seen preparing tools, such as stones, for the rioting masses during the demonstration yesterday.
“They all prepared the food. There were even indications of preparing stone tools for demonstrations, throws,” said Yusri.
As is known, PA 212 et al held a demonstration at the Horse Statue, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (13/10) yesterday. Initially, the situation at the demonstration was conducive until 16.00 WIB.
However, when the demonstration group PA 212 et al disbanded, suddenly another mass dominated by teenagers rioted. At this time, riots occurred in a number of areas in Jakarta until nightfall. At that time the police had already made efforts to appeal to the masses to return home. However, this appeal was not heeded so that it ended in chaos.
Currently, the ranks of Polda Metro Jaya are securing thousands of people in connection with the protest demonstration all the law The Job Creation Law which ended in chaos. Nearly 75 percent of those arrested were teenagers.
