The total confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria are already 582 122. 2 734 027 PCR and 2 644 265 antigen tests were performed (a total of 5 378 292), and the average percentage of positive samples since the beginning of the pandemic is 10.82 percent with 0.03% on a daily basis.
The number of active cases is increasing and is now 87,279, which is a record increase of 4,369 compared to the previous report. There is also an increase in hospitals, with the number of people there being 7325, which is 197 more (1107 were admitted to hospital, 910 were discharged). There are 608 patients accommodated in intensive care units – without change on a daily basis. 2323 people have recovered and the total number is now 471 403. 124 people have died – 119 less than on Monday, when an absolute record of 243 deaths was reported since the beginning of the epidemic in our country.
