There are no expired vaccines in Baja California – La Voz de la Frontera

In Baja California, expired vaccines are not being applied, said the secretary of health, Adrián Medina Amarillas.

He explained that although inside the country, Cofepris and Astrazeneca authorized that the doses that expired on April 30 could continue to be applied in the next 24 days, in Baja California, there are no vaccines from those batches.

A few days ago it was declared that there were 50,000 vaccines due to expire in the entity, but the secretary affirmed that they were all applied before April 30.

He also specified that the audio that circulates on social networks, about applied expired vaccines, does not apply to the entity.

Finally, he asked the population not to ask to check the bottle, because it must be cold and at a high temperature, because otherwise, if it gets hot, the vaccine becomes useless.
