The scandal at the funeral of Mihai Șora could expand. The son of the philosopher, Tom Șora, accused that in the last ten years he did not have access to his father, with whom he could not even talk. The accusations were directed towards the philosopher’s wife, 56 years younger, the poet Luiza Palanciuc.
Later, she responded publicly and said that she did not intervene between the philosopher and his children, accusing in her turn that Șora’s son and daughter were no longer interested in looking for their father.
The scandal could start on the fortune of Mihai Șora
Now, according to Romania TV, a new conflict could break out in Șora’s family, because the philosopher leaves behind a fortune of one million euros, according to information from sources. It is mostly about art objects, to which it seems that Tom Șora will have claims.
According to the same quoted source, there would be dissatisfaction in the family regarding Șora’s will that left his assets to his wife, his sons accusing Șora of having been manipulated to do so.
Mihai Șora had three children with his first wife who died in 2011, all three settled abroad. Unfortunately, in 2021, one of his two sons, Andrei, died.
The philosopher also had a daughter, Sanda Șora – who could not be present at the funeral, due to serious health problems, and Tom Șora, a well-known composer from Munich, who came to the ceremony and completely changed the atmosphere.
Tom Šora asked to speak, was given a microphone and gave a speech in which he confirmed what was being said, around the corners, for many years: The relationship between him and his father was blocked.
His words echoed in the White Church, where the body of Mihai Șora was deposited, before he was buried at the Bellu cemetery, impressing those present, to the point of tears. He accused the widow of blocking communication between them, the children, and his father, but also that they learned about the death on social media.
