Orkun Kökcü may be the next Feyenoord player to make a transfer. The midfielder is in the interest of various clubs from abroad, but at the moment there is nothing concrete. However, that is expected to change in the coming days.
”There are certainly developments around Kökcü”, says Feyenoord watcher Martijn Krabbendam of Football International. “I think there’s a fifty-fifty chance of him leaving. They are working on it. I think he is most likely to go to England. But there is also a lot of interest from Italy.”
Kökcü was linked to RB Leipzig, West Ham United and Leicester City at the beginning of the transfer period. Feyenoord has previously indicated that it would like to extend its current contract by one year until mid-2025.
