In Estonia, 44 people were diagnosed with the new coronavir virus last day, the Health Department said on Thursday.
As a result, the number of confirmed infections in Estonia has reached 3,076, and recovery has been confirmed in 1,817 people.
A total of 197,434 tests have been performed in Estonia to detect infection with the new coronavirus. 3020 analyzes were performed in the previous day, thus 2.1% of all analyzes were positive.
Of the 44 newly detected cases, three occurred in the workplace, 30 in contact with known individuals who had previously been exposed to the virus, but the remaining cases are not yet known where the infection may have occurred.
No deaths from the new coronavirus disease Covid-19 were reported in Estonia last day. A total of 64 people died of the disease in Estonia.
According to the Estonian Department of Health, the 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population on September 24 in Estonia is 35.82.
