There are 2,700 job vacancies in BUMN, what is the standard salary?

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) will open a large number of job vacancies for people who want to have a career in state-owned companies. This program is called the 2022 BUMN Joint Recruitment and has started as of Tuesday (12/4/2022).

In this year’s joint recruitment, the Ministry of SOEs and the Indonesian Human Capital Forum have prepared a special site for prospective SOE workers. Registration and all information regarding job vacancies in BUMN can be accessed on the recruitment page together.fhcibumn.id.

“The entire recruitment process will be carried out professionally, transparently, and upholding AKHLAK. This supports the transformation of SOEs as global players and factories of superior Indonesian talent that are ready to face the challenges ahead,” said General Chairperson of the Indonesian Human Capital Forum, Alexandra Askandar.

There are more than 2,700 job vacancies provided by this event. The vacancies are spread across 50 different SOEs.

Alexandra said this program can also be followed by alumni of the certified student internship program that has been carried out by the Ministry of SOEs with FHCI and 400 universities since 2018.

“The preparations we have made include the provision of an integrated digital platform as an information and recruitment center, the second application of the core values of AKHLAK as one of the selection stages, then the help desk team which will be opened in several communication channels and anticipate various applicant questions,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, admitted that he was worried and touched by the high enthusiasm of the community towards the 2022 BUMN Joint Recruitment program.

Erick has concerns because he believes the number of applicants for this program will be many times higher than the number of available vacancies.

“I am also quite touched but also worried because the number of recruits is 2,700, but tens of times more are registering. This must be realized, in line with Indonesia’s demographics, which is getting younger day by day. 54% are now Millennials and Gen Z, we have not counted Gen A. Due to digital disruption of technology and others, there has been an extraordinary change in the type of work,” said Erick, Tuesday (12/4/2022) yesterday.

According to him, new recruitment must be carried out by state-owned companies in line with the transformation of SOEs. He said that a third of Indonesia’s economic power is in SOEs. Therefore, SOEs need the best sons and daughters to have a career there.

Erick said that the sustainability of leadership in SOEs must continue with the character of AKHLAK in each employee.

“We don’t want to be a big force but a force that is misguided because it is not accompanied by good character. Intelligence without character will be evil. Wealth without character will become greed. Therefore I emphasize that the leaders of BUMN have the responsibility to continue the regeneration that is good, so that the strength of 1/3 of the economy in SOEs can continue to balance the Indonesian economy,” said Erick.
