Therapeutic education stays for patients suffering from obesity summer 2020

In its clinics in Paris 16, Varennes-Jarcy and Neufmoutiers, the Fondation Santé des Étudiants de France offers therapeutic education stays for overweight or obese young people aged between 11 and 25.
Stays are offered at the request of a doctor or through REPOP (Network for the management and prevention of obesity in pediatrics).
The goal of the therapeutic education stay is to bring awareness and a lasting change in lifestyle.
Various professionals of the Foundation work with patients and their parents: doctors, dieticians, physical activity specialists, psychologists, psychomotor therapists and physiotherapists.
The stays take place in the outpatient clinics and make use of all the appropriate material resources: specialist technical platform: physiotherapy, balneotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, dietetics, adapted physical activity, psychomotricity, rehabilitation gym, therapeutic cuisine.
With the COVID-19 epidemic crisis, stays have been adapted in accordance with national recommendations.
