Thégra. Cauvaldor has a Local Health Contract

On February 2, the first meeting of the steering committee of the future Cauvaldor Local Health Contract was held in Thégra: in partnership with the Regional Health Agency and following the decision of the community council, this contract signed, for 5 years , sets as a priority the reduction of the inequality of access to the care on the territory, as wished to recall it Mr. Thierry Chartroux mayor of Thégra and vice-president in charge of services to the population and health, during the opening session. This contract aims, of course, to improve the state of health of the inhabitants but it also focuses on prevention, access to care and medico-social support.

Supported by many other partners (the Lot department, the MSA Midi-Pyrénées Nord, the CPAM, the DDCSPP, the Gramat and Saint-Céré hospitals, the Martel nursing home, the professional health community) the steering committee drew up a 3-point schedule: carrying out a quantitative and qualitative diagnosis shared between different actors and partners and residents in the first half of 2021, then identifying strategic areas and defining an action plan. The sub-prefect of Gourdon, in her capacity as representative of the State, underlined the importance of achieving an operational and realistic tool with concrete actions for the benefit of all the inhabitants of the 77 communes of Cauvaldor.
