They damaged the cash register in which there was little money but above all they took away the tips of our boys And that’s what hurts us the most.” Anger and displeasure can be heard in the voice of Cinzia Angarano, legal representative of the ‘Social Promotion and Solidarity’ cooperative which in April two years ago inaugurated La locanda del giullare in Trani, a restaurant where twelve young people with different abilities work: c ‘there are those who have mental retardations, those who suffer from Down syndrome and those who have autism spectrum disorders. Late yesterday evening, who knows who, turned the place upside down, thus preventing its reopening scheduled for tomorrow. “We took two days off: yesterday and today we decided to close so we could start again on Sunday instead”, comments Cinzia. And yet the activities will not resume. “Too much damage, especially moral,” he adds. State police officers who carried out the investigations are investigating the theft. “We were alerted last night when an open door to the inn was noticed,” says Cinzia.
