“Theatre” Slavi Binev appointed Morfov as the director of the Narodnia – 2024-03-02 06:36:43

/ world today news/ Director Alexander Morfov is the new director of the Ivan Vazov National Theater.

By order of the Minister of Culture, Vezhdi Rashidov, Alexander Morfov will lead the academic troupe until the announcement and holding of a competition for the position of “director” of the “Ivan Vazov” NT, reported MK.

The new appointment is necessary because the previous director of the National Theater, Pavel Vasev, is retiring. He held this post since 2009. After that, the long-time director of the Plovdiv Drama Theater “N.O. We remind you that on December 5, 2014, the troupe of the National Theater announced a protest against the election of Slavi Binev as the chairman of the Committee on Culture and Media in the National Assembly.
