The Gamonal House of Culture in Burgos will host on Saturday, November 18, at 7:00 p.m., the musical ‘Beauty and the Beast’, by the company La Barbarie, founded in 2015 by José Manuel Arreciado and Sandra Gonzalez. Tickets are available through the bacantix.com website.
‘Beauty and the Beast’, the musical, is an adaptation of the popular French fairy tale. «Once upon a time there lived a prince who lived in a resplendent castle. Despite having everything he could want, he was selfish and spoiled. One night, a witch cast a curse on him and everyone who lived there. As punishment, the prince was condemned to be a beast, and they could only be freed from that curse if he managed to fall in love with a girl before the last petal of an enchanted rose fell. Ten years later, a young woman named Belle arrives at the castle to rescue her father, who is a prisoner of the beast. They say that true beauty is found inside.
